how time flies...
Ah, yes, finally, a belated but new entry to my very neglected blog.... its been a while, late july was my last entry made.... i was in bangladesh then.... many things have happened, and while i've been kept busy, very busy in fact at times, at least i'm no longer in a place of severe hardship.... boy am i glad i'm not in bangladesh, where the hurricane has wrecked havoc, and taken so many lives..... my time in shell doesnt seem so bad in comparison.....
nearly 4 months have gone by since my last post, time really flies when you're really busy.... there's always the work.... then there's the people i spend my time with..... i had also gone off on a short holiday to the US (maybe i'll write about that later) and then of course, there's facebook.....
well, now there's facebook.... i didnt think i needed it, as it is, my friendster is hardly used (it came in handy to remind me of birthdays tho), so when facebook came along, i wasnt exactly jumping with enthusiasm....
took me a while, but what has changed is that i'm very much into the spirit of facebook, wanting to add or accept new friends (well, they're not new, i've known some of them for about 20 years!!).... ah great, facebook has now made me feel old.... but unlike friendster, its a lot more interactive, so while playing the games and taking part in the quizzes are loads of fun, hooking up with old friends are even better... i just met up with some ex primary school mates over the weekend, people i've not seen since i left La Salle for BB more than 15 years ago.... damn, facebook is doing it again, i feel old.... and yes, all the fight club invites are getting kinda irritating, specially as i abhor violence hahaha.... but there are simply too many pros about this for me not to be able to leave it alone, not even for a day.... well, unless its a wkend of course, and i avoid the computer like a plague....
not that you can call me an addict, but i do wish that i can spend more time on that rather the mundane tasks that i perform to earn a living.... still, that's life, and getting back to work is exactly what i have to do right now.... unless of course i get another notification from facebook....let me just take a quick peek 1st b4 i really get back to work... i mean.... who can resist? ;)
